Zachary Weller is an Environmental Technician, new to the environmental industry and has over 2 years of experience within the biological sciences field. He has worked at the University of Alberta as a research assistant and at the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute (ABMI) as a lab technician.

Within Green Plan, Zachary has worked on a a variety of different projects involving urban and rural municipalities and construction monitoring.

Zachary has been experience in both desktop and field level wetlands assessments, involving soil classification and plant identification. He has worked on projects that include wildlife surveys and nest sweeps and record searches for at-risk species and nesting periods. Zachary has also engaged in water quality sampling and monitoring projects as well as executing fish rescue and relocation activities.

In his free time, Zac like to spend his time hiking, playing hockey and playing Dungeons and Dragons.
